In 2004, after ten years of research our founder, K.E. McCormick began the Utopia Network Trust and has been dedicated to improving the health and education of children and their families.
On 6th March 2009 the Charitable Institute was formed as the Utopia Research Institute Limited. The mission is to improve the health and education of children, their families and the community at large. To accomplish this mission the goal is to provide early detection of physical and mental issues, evidence-based prevention and early intervention programs, mental health rehabilitation and peer to peer support.
The Utopia Research Institute Limited (ABN 84 135 819 760) is not affiliated with any political or religious institution and has endorsement from the Australian Taxation Office for charity tax concessions and deductible gift recipient as a Charitable Institution.
The specific objective is to create a transparent and accountable foundation for implementing the Charitable Objectives:
- the advancement of education of children;
- the promotion of physical and mental health;
- research into the causes of disease in humans and its prevention; and
- the dissemination of the results of the scientific research to the public.
